Gore Range Natural Science School proudly partners with the Vail Recreation District to provide world-class programming at the Vail Nature Center adjacent Ford Park and Gore Creek. Open daily’ With streamside trails, plant and animal exhibits, and a friendly staff, the Vail Nature Center is truly one of Vail’s ‘best kept secrets.’ Open daily and located just steps away from Vail Village.

Programs begin in late June and cost a nominal fee charged by the Vail Recreation District. All proceeds help support Vail Nature Center operations. Call the Nature Center for details.
The Vail Nature Center currently has no 2005-2006 winter programs planned.

Contact Info & Directions
The Nature Center is easy to reach – by foot, bus, car or bike. The center is located across Gore Creek from the Betty Ford Alpine Garden and the Ford Amphitheater. From any point in Vail, you can take a bus to the Soccer Fields or the Tennis Center. Walk or ride your bike from Vail Village along the Gore Creek Trail. Parking is also available at the Soccer Field or the Tennis Center.
